Dear RAM families,
Can you believe we have reached the halfway point of the school year? Tomorrow marks the start of the 3rd quarter and report cards will be sent home next week. Winter MAP testing begins this Wednesday in Language Arts and will continue through the end of the month.
SOLE Effects is coming back to Twin Peaks next month with the SWITCH Experience for our 7th & 8th grade students! SWITCH is a highly impactful leadership program led by trained college interns who are ready to help students tackle issues such as toxic relationships, social media drama, and stress. SWITCH will take place during RAM on Fridays for 8 weeks. Parents and guardians can sign up their students now, but spaces are limited and registration closes on January 22nd. To sign up, go to the Twin Peaks website and look for the SWITCH Sign-Ups link.
Parents who pick their children up near St. Gabriel’s, we need your help. The church has asked for our support in ensuring students are picked up promptly and stay off the gate and out of the landscaping while waiting for their rides. There has been an increase in trash and vandalism, which if not curtailed will result in our loss of the privilege to use this area. I encourage you to speak with your child about the importance of being a responsible neighbor if you are utilizing that area. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
I will close with a reminder that there is no school tomorrow in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
That’s it for now. I look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday; and remember, it’s a 4/6/2 day.
