Weekly Update

October 15, 2017

Dear Ram families:
I have a brief message for you tonight. We had a great time at our Color Battle event last Friday. As always, we appreciate your support of Twin Peaks. This coming week, our band is hosting a fundraiser on Wednesday and Thursday at El Ranchito Taco Shop. You can go to either location and a percentage of the proceeds will go to support our TPMS band program.

This Friday is Pink Ribbon Day and we want everyone to wear pink! The pink ribbon is an international symbol of breast cancer awareness. Pink ribbons and the color pink in general identify the wearer or promoter with the breast cancer brand and express moral support. Let’s all wear pink on Friday, October 20th to demonstrate support!
I will close with a reminder to please have your student turn in his or her Federal Survey Form to their Ram teacher. The completion of this form allows our school district to obtain additional revenues, which, if not applied for, are assigned to other school districts throughout the nation. All forms are due by this Friday.
That’s it for now. I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow and remember, it’s a 6/2/4 day.
Sincerely,
Dr. Burke
