Weekly Update

February 11, 2018

Dear RAM families,
We want your input on district needs and focus areas for student success at Twin Peaks. Your input helps set district budget priorities for the upcoming school year, and our school’s voice matters. Our PTSA is hosting a forum in the TPMS Library on February 27th at 9:00 a.m. Click here to RSVP. If you can’t make the event, please take the online survey in either English or Spanish.
Finish Chelsea’s Run is coming up on March 3rd. While this is not a school-sponsored event, it is held in memory of Chelsea King, a Twin Peaks Ram alumni, and we like to show our support year after year. Finish Chelsea’s Run is an annual 5K to raise money for the Chelsea’s Light Foundation which provides college scholarships to young people who are dedicated to making the world a better place for everyone. We are very proud here at Twin Peaks to show our support for the King family and the Chelsea’s Light Foundation with one of the largest teams each year.
If you choose to participate, please select “Join a Team” when you sign up and register under the “Twin Peaks Rams” team. If you register with our team, your student can pick up your bibs and t-shirts at school before the race, we get a big table with a tent and breakfast at the event. We hope to be honored as the largest middle school team once again but we need you to sign up as the deadline is February 19th!
The link to register can be found at:
This week, students can look forward to the CJSF meeting Tuesday afternoon from 3:15-4:15pm in Room 713. Please view the Ram Report for this week’s spirit days and activities.
I will close with a reminder for students to check the lost and found for missing belongings this Friday before you head off to February Break. Any items left behind will be donated to a local charity.
That’s it for now. I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow and remember, it’s a 6/2/4 day.
